Warmer temperatures moved into Massachusetts for a short period of time recently and created a blanket of fog around my hometown area. I immediately knew that I wasn’t able to withstand the temptation of heading out and chasing the light this late afternoon. So glad I did! On my way to Lake Waban, my final destination for the day, I stopped at the Winona Farm in Natick. The historic Massachusetts farm was recently sold and demolished to make room for a new school. Some fences and trees or still standing strong though and this historic farmland was beautifully wrapped in quietude.

I loved every minute photographing this foggy New England scenery, just wished the old barn was still still there to be captured in a landscape photography composition. The aperture in both images was f/11 providing an exposure time of 1/6 second (1st image) and 1/13 second (2nd photo) at ISO100.

During post processing I adjusted brightness, contrast, highlights and shadows, vibrancy and color saturation before remove image imperfection and sharpening the final photographs of Winona Farm.
